Best Foot Forward 2020 Scholarship Finalists Announced!

By Grant Law Office on May 13, 2020

We at the Grant Law Office have spent the last few weeks poring over all of the extraordinary applications sent to us for the Best Foot Forward 2020 Scholarship since the application period closed on April 22nd, 2020. We were hoping to find out what got Georgia high school seniors and college students excited. What gets the Georgian youth out of bed every morning? With an incredible 341 applications sent to our firm, we think we’ve got a pretty good idea now!

Regrettably, while we were impressed with a great many of the essays, we can’t select them all to be finalists. With careful consideration, a few essays showed outstanding quality. So, we enthusiastically congratulate:

Olivia M. from Decatur, GA
Chirayu S. from Lawrenceville, GA
Jenna L. from Lawrenceville, GA
Kalvin N. from Jefferson, GA
Aparna A. from Cumming, GA
Shane B. from McDonough, GA

We cannot wait to award one of you a $1,000 scholarship. Your essays spoke to us and showed what brilliant young men and women you all are. Now, we must choose one of you to be our winner. We don’t anticipate this being an easy task, as we have loved getting to know each of you and learning about what makes you passionate. However, despite the difficulty, the winner will be announced on May 20th, 2020. Keep up to date with our blog and follow us on Facebook to get updates!

Thank you to every student that applied. While you may not have become a finalist, you still showed a great deal of passion for the next stage in your life and you should feel proud of the incredible work you put into your application. The Grant Law Office wishes you luck on the next steps you take!
