In 2019, the Grant Law Office had the honor of hearing from the best and brightest students studying in Georgia. Your enthusiasm and hard work invigorated us, and we are once again offering a Georgia student with the opportunity to win a $1,000 scholarship!
After putting your best foot forward for our 2019 scholarship (for which we thank you!), Grant Law Office is ready to announce the Georgia student who will be taking $1,000 to college. Our warmest congratulations to:
Last year, an overwhelming 5,000+ applicants sent in their information to our Best Foot Forward Scholarship, and as exciting as that was, it also exhausted our office staff. Reading through all those essays was time-consuming, although we read many, many good pieces. So for 2019, we narrowed our focus to our home state of Georgia: only students planning to go to school here (or already enrolled!) were eligible to apply. We received many good entries, and now, we’re ready to name names. Who’s still in the race for $1,000?
For over three decades, Wayne Grant’s hard work, integrity, and compassion for injury victims has garnered him a great deal of respect in Georgia’s legal community. It is this respect that has led to Mr. Grant, once again, being awarded “Best Lawyer” status for 2019.
Last year, Atlanta’s Grant Law Office received over 5,000 applications for our scholarship! Students from across the United States told us how attending college would help them achieve their future goals, and how they planned to leave their mark on the world. We had quite a time sorting through thousands of essays, but we did manage to pick one impressive winner!
This year, it’s getting harder.
The attorneys at Grant Law Office have experienced the benefits of a secondary education, and would like help a deserving student achieve her own academic dreams. It was in this spirit that we hosted a nationwide scholarship. We received over 5,000 essays from entrants vying for the prize, and pored over each one.
There were many good entries, but unfortunately, there could only be one winner; and that winner is…
It was unbelievable. Our Best Foot Forward 2018 scholarship received over five thousand applications before the August 15, 2018, deadline. This $1,000 scholarship was open to high school and college students from across the United States, and we were amazed and pleased at the overwhelming response. It was hard going to read through all of our applicants’ short introductions and essays, but we managed to do it.
Earning the respect of one’s peers is vital to success in the legal community, which is why Atlanta’s Grant Law Office is proud to announce that Wayne Grant has, once again, achieved “Best Lawyer” status.
In Punta Gorda, Florida, a police officer accidentally shot and killed a woman during a civilian training session. The gun used during the session mistakenly had a live round in it. According to a CNN report, the weapon was supposed to have had blank ammunition inside, and the purpose of the drill was a “shoot/don’t shoot” role-play scenario in which simulated lethal force was to be demonstrated.
Personal injury attorney Wayne Grant has been selected for inclusion in the Georgia Super Lawyers 2014 list for his continued success in personal injury and medical malpractice legal representation. This is the 10th year in a row that attorney Grant, based in Atlanta and founder of The Law Offices of Wayne Grant, P.C., has been selected for inclusion by Super Lawyers.
Being selected for inclusion means that Wayne Grant has been recognized as one of the top lawyers in the state, as only the top 5% of all lawyers in each state are selected by Super Lawyers each year. As a rating service, Super Lawyers recognizes the best attorneys from more than 70 legal practices in each state based on their success in and out of the courtroom.
