Grant Law Office Chooses 5 Scholarship Finalists

Last year, an overwhelming 5,000+ applicants sent in their information to our Best Foot Forward Scholarship, and as exciting as that was, it also exhausted our office staff. Reading through all those essays was time-consuming, although we read many, many good pieces. So for 2019, we narrowed our focus to our home state of Georgia: only students planning to go to school here (or already enrolled!) were eligible to apply. We received many good entries, and now, we’re ready to name names. Who’s still in the race for $1,000?

Our finalists are:

  • Madeline S. – Watkinsville, GA
  • Valerie L. – Conyers, GA
  • Morgan Nicole W. – Acworth, GA
  • Noah C.- Atlanta, GA
  • Madison N. – Woodstock, VA

Grant Law Office congratulates you for making it this far! We loved reading about your passion, and how a college education will help you feed it. You really impressed us with not only your aspirations, but your flair for capturing our attention in your writing, just like last year’s winner. We encourage you to continue with your gift of storytelling – it’s a shared human experience that should never go to waste!

To everyone else who applied, we say much the same thing: continue to build your skills and pursue your dreams, and get a good education to support you along the way. We wish you all the best, and encourage you to apply again next year! We will be announcing our winner on June 27, 2019, on our blog and Facebook page. Please check back to see if it’s you!
